TV Editorials Cleanup / SDEPG

I migrated all my tuners to SD EPG about 2 weeks ago and all that is working, however the TV Shows Editorials screen is still showing editorials from the last time I updated the (now) legacy EPG. Most recent dated item is from June 11th so nothing new is populating.

I know the Editorials work differently under SD, but is there any way to clean out the old editorials?

edit - BTW, I am running V9.1.2.662

I do not know of a way to purge them manually. They will clear out slowly on their own.

ENE had talked about a replacement for the Editorials screen in a previous post, but I don't think it has been implemented yet. The SD EPG data doesn't include the information used to generate the Editorials screen, but he was going to do something that created a list of suggested upcoming shows based on your viewing history (sounded kind of like the Intelligent Suggestions plugin to me).

So for now I think the Editorials screen is just kind of useless if you are getting EPG data from Schedules Direct.

In the latest versions of SageTV, it should be populating with something unless it can't find any suggestions from Schedules Direct that you don't already have a favorite for. It does make a small effort to not suggest things that you already have a clear interest in watching. I can't guarantee that it will actually show something for everyone because it's largely dependent on if the programs being looked up have suggestions.
