Hi,

I just wanted to say a quick thanks to all the people who keep SageTV going. When the media PC first came out a long time ago, I though this was the ultimate manifestation of home theater and it would be the future. I was very excited because that's how I experienced media- with my desktop computer. But the media PC never took off, I believe it was too techie for mainstream and companies couldn't sell you anything with it.

I've been a SageTV user for a long time. The v9 product offered today is amazing for media PC fans. I never would have guessed five years ago that I would be able to setup a fully functional media PC (for free) in a couple hours- including metadata and fanart! Just think of all those new user who won't ever have to know what Jetty web server is. All you developers should get a medal just for that.

At least for me, take away my smart phone, but I'll keep my desktop PC connected to my home theater any day.
