Client playback issues

Hi,

Wondering what minimum specs are needed for full pc client processor. I am having issues with playback when my server is taping multiple shows. The playback on client is slow and laboured. No issues if I view from server since pc has 24 gb. Is this related to my client's processor, Hdd capacity ( how much free space) or java heap? Would switching from win to linux server solve java issue? ( don't understand how 32 vs 64 bit improves/hinders performance of setup )

A slow responding UI (i.e. spinning circles) is often low Java memory but stuttering playback is usually network issues.

What are your client specs? And what exactly is slow and laboured? Are you seeing spinning circles? Is the video actually playing in slow motion?

just to update. My issues were network related. I also reinstalled the wifi drivers & tweaked its settings along with tweaking firewall so alot smoother playback on my Vivo Mini pc.
