Transcoding 1080i

[Malfunction]

Is there a way to get transcoding to work with 1080i, preferably MKV? It always crashes for me.

Am I the only one with this problem?

Nope, this happens to me when trying to convert anything manually or via Auto Compress Favorites from raw mpeg2 to any format. Running latest v9 and sage.jar. It's the last thing that i would like to get working since upgrading to 9. Usually I'm such a late adopter of new versions that someone else has already had the problem and fixes suggested, lol. I've tried several different things that I could find on here, but to no avail.
Using these gets the attached log file.
