What happens if I copy/paste Mini-client properties?

I'm on the verge of completing a year and a half long overhaul of moving everything to UNRAID/Gemstone/Shield clients/Harmony remotes, which has been a lot of trial and error and foul language. I have figured out how to get everything working the way I want including the Gemstone menus and assigned Harmony remote keypresses, now I have to actually do it on all 5 shields and i'm getting lazy.

If I configure one the way I want and just copy/paste the lines into each of the others' .properties files, will I get what I'm looking for? I know I can export/import gemstone which is easy enough, but I still have to do the keypresses. it seems like I could do it all at once this way?

I think that works - in fact I think I have even done a file copy, paste and rename of the properties files. However that may not even be required as, I think SageTV is smart enough that when you first use a new miniclient that it clones an existing properties file.

So if you have properties files already created for the other 5 shields then try moving them to a different folder and see if that works.
