Silicondust Prime Release 20220125 issues?
I noticed that Silicondust has released new firmware for their Prime tuners, Release 20220125. Has anyone tried this new firmware? As I remember, it is not possible to move back to a previous version, so it is a bit frightening to consider.
Has anyone taken the plunge? How did it go?

Looks like 20220128 was released a few days later. Probably a good idea to hold off upgrading for a few weeks...

Yeah, I installed the 20220125 update when I was building my new server over the last few days.
I was previously using 20211212 (which had 20210624 firmware in it). I have HDHomeRun PRIME (HDHR3-CC) and HDHomeRun FLEX 4K (HDFX-4K) OTA. After the 20220125 update my Prime was ok, but the Flex cratered. Hardly any of the previously working channels tune, or if they did they would have red or yellow bars in the windows HDHomeRun app. Some of the channels didn't even tune in and dropped off the list. I'm about 8 miles directly north of the Houston antenna farm and my antenna is in a second-story window pointing right at it. Like I said working great before 20220125. I just removed all the channels from my SageTV OTA lineup since I did not have time to start debugging it. The Prime is the primary tuner anyway. I saw that they released 20220128 today and went ahead and did the update. Figured that they could not make it any worse. After the install it did the firmware update for the Flex and I did a scan. So far it looks like it is back to normal. I have not sat down and gone through all the channels yet, will probably get to it tonight. Just went through the forums on silicondust. Do not see anything about other people having any problems though.
