Very Confused: Synology DSM Update = Imported Media Broken?

Saturday morning, I updated my Synology DS1520+, DSM version is now at DSM 7.1-42661 Update 2.
This apparently broke HD200, and Windows Client Streaming from imported media, hosted on the Synology Disk Station.

SageTV Server is V9.2.6.976 64 Bit Hosted on Windows 10 Pro.

I first noticed the issue on an HD200 last night. And since have been using a V9 windows client to attempt to fix.
So far as I can tell via various windows machines the content is still there, and the path(s) have not changed.
\\192.168.1.97\share\Video
Is typically how is would be entered into the media import directories dialog. But this results in 'directory does not exist do you want to create it'. Neither a Y or a N yields results.
If I choose up directory to get to browse the network in SageTV, the 'PRIMENAS' is seen under /WORKGROUP but upon selecting it SageTV says invalid directory.
If I enable SMB1 on the Synology, then exploring the network, as above allows me to see /share/Video, and it can be added. But the media import icon disappears after a few seconds (way too short), and no content ever becomes browse-able.

After typing that I think it's something stupid like SageTV needs to login is as guest w/no password (which is what works with windows).

\\192.168.1.97\share /user:Guest

But that did not work. Same message 'directory does not exist'.

BTW: Is there anyway to get around the SageTV dialog using telephone style input? It's annoying.

I restored the DSM configuration that was apparently saved Saturday morning, but it has not made a difference.

Any help appreciated.

Question: Is it possible to create the \\server\share url that specifies the user and password? My attempt of...

\\192.168.1.97\share /user:Guest pw:

Seems to confuse SageTV - Said directory did not exist, and was attempting to make "/share /user:Guest pw:"

So far as I can tell the share is as wide open as I can make it.

No encryption

Well, I implemented a kluge.

Stopped using SageTV as a service so I could get access to the share via a mapped drive.

Not ideal. But should be workable.

Oh you were running the Service as the local system account that is why... You need to run the service as the user.

No service was setup to use a user.
Just like it was, and working, before the Synology DSM update.

Yes. On those screens press pause or the key combo that is for pause and the input mode will toggle.
