They indicated that they closed the beta and were not accepting any more testers. I can understand that, except for the fact that it seems that most of the people that were working with it have dropped off.

So, the rest of us just wait around and hope that either those that have Studio suddenly end up with more free time, or that Frey actually releases Studio to the public. I just have a bad feeling that when they do release it, the price of it will put it beyond most of those that are willing and able to work with it.

We shall only see...

The private beta program is "closed" in the sense that it is by invitation only; it is not shut down nor is it available to anyone/everyone who asks. In comparison, the recent v2.2 betas were "open" when they were posted to the public beta forum.

As has been mentioned numerous times in the past, Studio and the rest of the private beta info is covered under an NDA that was signed when entering the group, so no one in that group is allowed to provide any extra details about it at this time.

Is there an updated SageMC4x3 for SageTV 4.0?

I find the 16x9 works fine on 4x3 displays.

So is there any issues with sage16x9 running on a 4:3 display? Do the bitmap images, text, or menus look correct?

This STV is no longer supported. I think you meant to post in the SageMC169 thread. But to answer your question, many users use it on 4:3 and it seems to be just fine.
