I mentioned this the other day here but it really needs to be forwarded to Dan and Jeff. To use through Girder is great, but this MUST be natively in Sage to minimize remote lag, etc.
I'll go ahead now and forward it to Frey now the Bruno has finished the code. -PGPfan Last edited by PGPfan; 03-14-2005 at 02:32 PM. Reason: spelling fix |

I get good response for about 5 minutes, then I get wierd performance where most commands are either delayed or don't perform the resulting action. The MCE receiver is receiving (I can see the light blink), but wierd response.
Did you guys get this working well, all the time? |

I agree that native support for this would be best... anyone try it without Girder? I think it can use the irbus.dll from Microsoft, but all the buttons may not work.

My two cents on the issue (will write more when I get more data): I think the send message command doesn't work well during heavy use. I may try using keyboard command instead for most buttons...

I think the problem with that was using the nvidia decoders.. they seem to block sage from receiving commands. With other decoders it seems to work fine.
