Yep. The themes fail to be loaded. fixed in v6.3.
The slowness, I don't see...
The listing of sage-community in the JAR is not a problem, but is also fixed in 6.3

Using the default menu, when clicking on the "SageTV Recordings" link which is to an internal menu I get the following:

Clicking on the "Setup" I get:

This started for me in 6.2.7 as reported here

I am running the Linux server and this is only apparent on MVPs and PlaceShifting clients and only with SubMenuItems as far as I can tell.

If there is anything I can do to provide more debugging data, please let me know. I am running 6.3 of the add-on with the nielm-sageutls.jar from the webserver package. I have tried no add-ons, pulled out all JARs and only added in what was packaged with the original 6.2 update, but the problem was still there.

Can you post or attached the full logging between Launching menu action and the end of the file.

You could also try disabling the fading between menu screens by setting property
nielm/main_menu/animate_transitions=false

Do you have any network storage for you Sage recordings that might be offline -- it may be timeing out getting free disk space? (this would also cause System info page to be slow loading all data as well)

Thanks. Using this: nielm/main_menu/animate_transitions=false
fixed the issue. I don't know what functionality/prettiness I lose though. If you would like to troubleshoot why this is broken in Linux let me know.

It does 2 things:

It stops the menu pages fading into each other (which is a core feature)

It prevents redraw of the disk space bar when going to submenus (thus preventing the free disk space being queried).

IF it is a free disk issue, you may still get hangs occuring at other times.

My custom menu doesn't have the disk space enabled and I was experiencing the issue. I use the disk bar in the hidden features instead.

With the new Malore menus in SageTV. I can create different views. What I would like to do is be able to Create a menuitem for the individual views.

For example in my sage Recordings. I have manual recordings view, archived recording views and a couple of views sorted by date etc... I would like to setup a sub menu with my views.

After adding this to my sagemc_menu.xml, I get the following error when navigating to one of the lists:

Error: Unknown Internal Screen
"Online Video SHORTCUT"

I am running SageTV 6.3.2 on both the server and the client that I tested this on. Any ideas?

Edit: Should also add I'm running SageMC 6.3.5.1.

Edit2: Updated to the latest Dynamic Menu STVi from within SageMC, and now I don't receive that error. The problem I'm seeing now is that no matter which podcast item I choose, it goes to the Google Video screen.

I am sorry, I should have specified. This is for the default STV. I don't know if this is an issue with the version of dynamic menus in SageMC, or if it is SageMC itself.

Okay I had this working perfectly fine before on SageTV Client 6.9.1 and something happened to the computer and I had to a system restore. I got everything else back to what it was before with SageTV but when I loaded v6.2 or 6.3 of Dynamic Customisable Main Menu the Scheduled Recording Panel just says EPGCell. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling SageTV client to use the default sagetv3.xml but its still not working. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

As mentioned in the release history, dynamic menus V6.1 is for Sage 6.1.
V6.2/6.3 are for Sage 6.2, which is probably why you are seeing those problems.
(I am currently working on a release for sage 6.3)

I was wondering if there was a way using the dynamic menus to get the online services page to look the way it does in the new 6.3.5 default stv? By that I mean with each item in block form. Currently I used the menuitemlet above to get the new online content listed, but it is in list form. I want it to look the way it does when you click on (for eg.) the news category. I hope this makes sense. Any help would be appreciated.

I'll second this. Would love to use the default online services menu. Not to sound ungrateful though... thanks nielm and bcjenkins for the addon and code. This addon is one of my very favorites.

Currently working on a 6.3 version... It will restore the ability to use the built-in 'online services' menu.

(If you wanto to 'fix' it in studio in your current STV, go to 'Online Services Menu', expand it, expand the 2 'BeforeMenuLoad' hooks, and delete the one which has the "REM Go to dynamic main menus..." child... You can now create a internal screen menu item to 'Online Services Menu').
