When I loaded all the stvi's, whenever I got a .jar conflict - I kept the most recent one. I'll load the one from DCMM and see. Thanks.

Error in importing Dynamic Menus

Don't know if this is the proper place to post this but I just upgraded to the latest version of Sage TV 6.48 and I'm having a problem importing the Dynamic Customisable Main Menu. I did a fresh install and not an install on top of my existing version of sage. I have no clue of what to do with this error message. I little bit about my setup. I'm running server 2003 and I run SageTV in service mode. I'm trying to install the import on my server. I have attached a capture of the screen when I get the error. Here is what it says;

Failed to load xml menu file
menu file=c:\program files\SageTV\SageTV\menu.xml

Errors:
Sagemenu definition file C:\program files\SageTV\SageTV\menu.xml does not exist

Having problems with the latest version of Sage Client and DCMM. Some of the mapping has changed and now 'browse media files' and google report errors.

I'm running Sage 6.3.10 and DCMM doesn't work with "refresh imported media" either. Gives "Error, Unknown Internal Screen "Refresh Media Library SHORTCUT" "

It works on the client, but not the server...

Server (xp sp3) and Client (vista sp1) are running same two stvi, dynamic menu import and comskip playback.

Anyone know if this stvi is MIA? I tried installing it using the 6.4 version, but I get an error "invalid top level node version" and have to fall back to the standard menus. I tried PMing nielm but have not heard a response in over a week. Can anyone else help, or should I scrap the idea of the customizable menu? I used it with version 5 and loved it, so I'd really like to get it going for v. 6 too. Thanks in advance for any help...

It seems to be working fine here? Make sure that it is the 1st plugin installed.

Check that you have the file SageMenu.dtd in the SageTV directory and try loading default_menu_V6_3.xml as your menu file.

Actually, don't rename that file!

The file you are looking for is called "default_menu_v6_3.xml" (or something similar if you have a different version of the dynamic menus. It should have been included in the dynamic menu import ZIP file, and it should have ended up in your SageTV folder after you unzipped it.

Make a copy of this default menu file and rename it "menu.xml" (keep it in the same folder). Then re-start Sage.

This file defines your custom menu structure. By default, the first time you start Sage with the dynamic menu import installed, it looks for a file with the name "menu.xml" and uses it to create the menus. If it can't find it, you get a cryptic error message.

Nope, neither one worked. I still get the message:
Failed to load xml menu file
Menu file = C:\Program File\SageTV\SageTV\menu.xml
Reload Menu File
Load Alternative Menu Definition File
Fallback to Standard Sage Menus

Errors:
Invalid top level node version: 1.4
when parsingC:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\menu.xml

Did you try lopking for an alternate file? If you have it, try one called *Default*Menus*.xml.

(*=wildcard)

Also you can look in the zip and manually move the menu.xml as well.
