SageTV4, Firefly, and USB-UIRT

Hello,

I'm new to SageTV. I recently installed the trial version of SageTV4 and Girder 4. I'm thinking of switching from BeyondTV. I've run into a few issues with SageTV:

1- I'd like to get SageTV to work with my Firefly remote so I downloaded a plugin for Firefly and Girder. I get some functionality with the Firefly remote but a lot of the buttons don't work (fast forward, record, stop etc..). Does anyone know how to get this remote working with SageTV?

2- I have USB-UIRT for transmitting channel change signals to my DirecTV box, however when I try to change channels nothing happens. No signal is sent by the USB-UIRT to the DirecTV box. How do I go about setting up SageTV to transmit the channel codes to the box? I've gone through the SageTV wizard many times but I could not get the thing to work.

3- When I view the shows in SageTV there is always a black bar on the right and the left side of the picture about two inches wide. This only happens when I view the picutures through the Windows IDE connected to my TV though the DVI port. However, The picuture looks fine if I use my TV card's video out. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this issue?

My system:
Inel Celeron 2GHz
250 gig HD
Haupauge WinTV PVR 350
Firefly remote
USB-UIRT
D10-200 DirecTV receiver
Girder 4

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

You may have update Girder to make new key call for new keyboard shortcut or can Girder and used Firefly software and I have ready posted an update profile for the Firefly software.
You can use the BeyondTV IR file just sent it to me and I fix it to work in SageTV.
Have try change the in the setup |detail setup | multimedia the Aspect Ratio setting?, try 105 to 107 maybe that will help.

Thanks for the response. I've tried the aspect ratio setting, but as soon as I change it to anything but 100% my computer seems to lock up, but I'll try again. Also, do you happen to know where I can find the BeyondTV IR file? or would you please provide the link for your updated Girder profile for Firefly?

Thanks

Does that USB-UIRT take radio signals because the firefly is a radio remote. as for girder, you can let it connect to the remote with the standard snapstream drivers, or the generic x10 drivers.
