Custom STV: SageMC_16x9 edited for Linux
I was looking to get an STV working in Linux, but with Windows using backslashes instead of slashes, some of the features wouldn't work.
Attached is a copy of the STV from SageMC_16x9 with edits done for ONLY the slash in the filenames. I've only tested the main menus (i.e. not the Dynamic Menus). I also added a SaveProperties for when you exit the setup menu, for those of us who use SageTV as a server with an MVP and never exit the actual program. The animations were sped up a bit (by 2x) as Linux seemed to draw these slower on mine (especially on an MVP), but that can be easily set back if you use Studio. And the animations do work on the MVP.... But aside from those things, everything was left as it was. It's not going to be updated by me, but it was just something I did quick and wanted to share it with everyone else. BTW, IMDB does seem to work under Linux. Just copy all the JARs from the full install into the /opt/sagetv/JARs folder (also follow the instructions in the FAQ to enable plugins). Put everything else in the /opt/sagetv/usr folder (and extract using folders). You might also want to set the "nielm/main_menu_xml_file" property in Sage.properties if you have nielm's Dynamic Menu installed..... Enjoy!
