Video Orbiting and TV Image Shift

Hello - I just discovered that my Plasma TV has a feature in the menu called Image Shift that I can turn on and set to 10 seconds, 20 seconds or 30 seconds and the manual says it moves the picture undetectably to prevent residual images. So the question is should I use that instead of Sage Video Orbiting? I'm thinking using both could be bad since they could in theory cancel each other out.

Any thoughts on this?

That's a tough one. I would probably use the one built into the television. That way, all your inputs are protected versus only SageTV. I think you're right about running both being a potential risk. They could cancel eachother out.
