Limit favorites to one day?
Hello
I am trying to limit some favorites to a single day. Unfortunally this is not working. Could this be because i am using a dutch os and it only works for the english version of xp. Limiting to a specific timeslot is working unfortunally dutch channels can't keep to timeslots. Peter.

It might be because of the language issues. Is the SageTV UI using English? I thought it would work as long as the UI is using English.

There is definately a bug in the STV when the UI language is set to German.
English works fine, but in German the time for the favourite shows in the field for the day and the field for the time is empty. This bug is in the stv since V3 at least. I reported it but never got an answer. Any chance to get this fixed in the next version? Oliver

My Sage setup is standard, UI is English and so on, but still I've never managed to limit recordings for one day only.
If I enter advanced recording options and set recording for one day only and go selecting the day again, my selection has vanished and the setting is "All days", not the day I selected.

Are you sure there isn't already a version of the same Favorite limited to that day? It shouldn't accept the change if another fav has the same limitation.
There may still be an issue regarding limiting favorites to a day of the week when the locale is not the US; I don't remember whether that was changed. You might try temporarily selecting the US in the Configuration Wizard & see if it makes any difference. If you are using the default STV & haven't made any customizations, I would contact SageTV. - Andy
