Lightbulb 4 Sigma Designs MPEG2 cards

In the process of building my media server. Ordered a PVR-250 bundle & see their supposed to ship on or around the 20th. Gives a bit of time to get the video out card. Then I saw a lot of 4 Sigma Designs MPEG2 decoder cards on Ebay.....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...gory=3759&rd=1

Tried to email the guy, but I ran across the auction in it's last couple of hours...... and it had no bids on it. So I figured, what the hell & put the minimum bid down.... hopefully I haven't just boat 4 pieces of junk!

As far as I can tell they appear to be Sigma Designs Xcards, which I've seen a few of you have in your media servers. So any of your input would be great!

Thanks.

Those don't look like my XCard. You could check out http://www.sigmadesigns.com/ to see what the specs are for them & see if they will do what you want.

Not really... the board layout doesn't seem to match any of the current products listed on the Sigma site. Perhaps it is an older product that someone else can identify.
