Sage Service Questions

I'm trying to set up my server to run as a service. I have all my storage on a separate machine. The server is running XP Home and the storage server is running XP Mediacenter. The problem is that when I use the service I can't see the storage on the other machine. I'm not sure what permissions to set to be able to access this. Can any of you help?

You have to set up a password-protected account on the computer running the service. Then set the service to use that account to run (in the sage service control applet). The password-protected account is required to access network shares.

Aloha,
Mike

And every time you upgrade SageTV, the installer uninstalls the service and reinstalls it, wiping out your "run service under this account" settings.

That got it. I didn't know about the requirement for a password. Thanks.
