doesnt show on the TV correctly...

first let me say thanks to everyone who has helped me these passed few weeks. it is working great now.

i have also tried, media portal, beyondtv and attempted an install of myth.

Sage wins hands down.

my problem is this. when my computer boots up i have set it to auto login to my domain and launch sage. which it does great. no need for a monitor on my pc or having to have any tv outs on my VC at all. great!.

however the picture that shows up on my tv is about 2inchs to big. in the guide for example, i can only see half the bottom line, and left and right seems a little "off the screen" as well.

i have played with the setup wizzard to move the sage thing around. but it just makes it worse whichever way i move it.

is this something i am going to have to live with?

V.

Go into Detailed Setup and adjust your overscan settings. The overscan correction screen will provide you with corner markers you will adjust to the corners of your visible screen. The UI should then fit properly. Also, if you want to adjust the video size, you do that in the Aspect Ratio settings.

Aloha,
Mike

Have you actually tried it because that is exactly what it does. You can make it larger or smaller by adjusting the screen as Mike described. You move one corner so that it fits the screen and then the other and the UI changes size so that it fits.

ok i am not afraid to admit when i am an idiot.

lmao i actually cant stop laughing.

i was staring at those damn arrows on my pc screen. it was so off on my TV i couldnt see them at all on my tv, and assumed they were not there and they were only on my pc screen. so i have been matching them up to the edge of the sage program, not the tv.

my god this has been a long day.

thanks guys, sorry for the misunderstanding.

got it all working now.
