Do I have to do anything when cable lineup gets new channel?
Here in Hawaii, we are still waiting for Time-Warner cable to assign a channel for the CW network. When the channel is finally available, is there anything that I have to do to add that channel to my EPG, or will it be added automatically? Thanks.
Aloha, Mike

When using the built-in EPG data, new channels should be added automatically as they become part of the data for lineup you are using. If a channel gets added to a lineup, but the Zap2It data that SageTV uses doesn't include it after giving it a while, contact SageTV.
If your provider were to completely change the lineup & list it under a different name, then you would have to reconfigure the lineup for your source(s). - Andy

Sage wont add it automatically until Zap2it gets it added. Timing of that could be a few days in advance to weeks behind launch. I had a case where Universal HD was added to my Sage guide a week before Charter turned the channel on, and have had cases (HGTV HD) where they didnt add it for days after it launched on Dish. Once your CW is added, if Zap2it doesnt add it quickly, you can manually add the channel to your lineup, but getting guide data will be tricky until Zap2it adds it.
