Exclamation USB-UIRT Remote Commands Executed Double

After installing RC2, I'm seeing problems where command clicks from my remote are being processed twice, as if I clicked twice.

I'm using the USB-UIRT with a MCE remote. This is the first time this has been a problem since I've started using SAGE since V4.

Ideas welcome.

By any chance, is there an MCE reveiver also in use & responding to the button press?

No, Andy. Just the USB-UIRT. This just started happening. It's weird.

Last night I was setting up my Harmony 890 Remote. I was getting double presses too until I went in and specified which port to send the channel change across. Any chance you could do the same with usbuirt?

I just installed the USB-UIRT driver and selected USB-UIRT + Remote in Sage. I am unaware of any settings I can tweak.

This may have absolutely nothing to do with it, but on my harmony remote two keystrokes are emitted. So I had to to have Sage learn both commands.

Hi, Ed! This is true for my remote as well. Every button emits two codes and you have to learn both. If you don't, then you will occasionally not have a response when you click. In this case I'm getting two clicks as if I'm holding the button down.

Also look in the web setup of Harmony. There is an adjustment in how fast the key repeats. I think it is somewhere in advanced or check the help section. Anyways, slow it down a bit and this may help you. I had to slow one of mine down before.

There are settings to adjust the response rate to incoming IR commands in the sage.properties (or sageclient.properties) file. The following settings eliminated all double commands for me.

infrared_receive_repeat_delay=500
infrared_receive_repeat_period=250

Aloha,
Mike
