Set Watched Flag after __% of show played
I usually stop playback during the credits and therefore the show never plays back to the end. I have to set the watch flag manually or usually I just forget to. Is there a menu option or STV import that will allow the watch flag to be set automatically after I reach a certain percentage of playback?

Instead of hitting stop just hit FF.

It is marked as watched if you watch a certain amount, but I don't remember if there are any properties to control the amount.
One way around it is to use FF2 (if that is on your remote) once you are in the credits. If it jumps to the very end of the show, or at least past the end of show mark, then you'll know for sure it is automatically marked as watched. - Andy

I believe there is different handling of the watched flag between recorded shows and imported videos.
In my case at least, for recorded shows the watched flag is set at something like 85% through the show. This creates problems and SageTV support knows about it. When you are time shifting a favourite being recorded and you watch passed the threshhold, the flag comes up. If you press stop, playback stops but so does the recording.... I believe grauchy refers to the watched flag on imported videos in which case FF2 as Opus4 says is the best way to go to the end. Of course, you have to remember to also press STOP, because even though the SageTV interface comes up, the last frame of the video is still loaded and I found that not pressing stop, sometimes causes SageTV to hang when doing the next action.
