Sage TV GUI locks up comming out of sleep mode

I am using Sage 6.0.19 and I have just installed the IMDB and Dynamic menu STV imports.

Now when I put Sage into the sleep mode and bring it back out of sleep mode the screen locks up. The Sage TV Icon is frozen on the screen. To get the interface back I issue a Crtl Alt Del and kill the sage application. I can repeat this ever time and it also happens on the MVP in my bedroom.

Before I applied the STV imports every thing worked great.

Has anyone seen this before? I hope someone can help me fix this because the IMDB and Dynamic menus add a nice touch to the Sage GUI.

I am seeing this same issue with that version, except that I have not installed any extensions.

It happens about 95% of the time. If Sage sits idle long enough for the screen saver to kick in, then I basically reboot the machine (i don't have handy keyboard access to kill the process).

I'm not sure if this is related...but I know it's happening w/ my sage client as well...could it be that the client tries to use the connection that the server already has timed out?

Hey guys,

This was a known and common issue with that version and probably other versions as well. I experienced the exact same thing. Sometimes if it wasn't in standby for long, it would resume just fine, but most of the time video would be black, the menu would be solid, and the program unresponsive, and I'd have to kill it and restart it.

This HAS been fixed officially, according to support and from as far as I can see, in the latest 6.1.3 Release Candidate. Go install it!
