Opinions on USB SD HW Encoder boxes?
Hey everyone,
I need an SD external Hw encoder box to use with Sage. I was hoping to get one on the cheap (60-70) but from the looks of things that may not be possible. Can anyone give me a rundown of the various models Sage supports and any user opinions on them? Thanks. |

+1 for the PVR USB2. It is rock solid and good quality.

If you're in PAL land, avoid teh plextor range. There is a known issue that the s-video inputs do not work. In general, the quality from my plextor tuner is very poor compared to my hauppages.
