Help a newb! How do I use girder with Sage5.0.4, Girder v4.0?

I can get Girder, by using the GML file in the wiki, to recognize remote commands within girder, but nothing is *EVER* passed to Sage, even if I give Sage focus. I have tried setting, one by one, "use invisible window" on 30+ commands, and none of them work anyway . I want, ultimately, to make it work without Sage having focus (so I could be browsing the web while someone else is using the remote to control Sage). How can I do this? The "apply command to group" thing doesn't show up on the rightclick menu, but even still applying them one by one it doesn't work how older threads say it does. Any help? Thanks!

I don't have girder in front of me so I can't tell you exactly what to click on but I know you'll need to translate those recognized remote commands to keystrokes Sage understands.
Girder, in v4, was nice enough to leave in 'legacy keyboard commands' which I use exclusively for SageTV. It allows you to take those commands recognized by Girder and translate them into keystrokes to send to Sage. So when you press 'play' on the remote, girder recognizes that as MCEPLAY or something and sends a CTRL+S to SageTVClient.exe.
I feel your pain trying to setup Girder. I hate that software with a passion but it is a necessary evil. Once configured and working the way you want it to, it will work great *forever. MAKE A BACKUP OR 50 OF THE SUCKER AND SPREAD THEM AROUND because you'll never want to do that again.

*Theoretical time limit. I've always fracked it up before then so can't confirm.

Golden Tiger,

Did you enable the send message plugin in girder. That is what the sage gml uses I believe.
