To install or not to install...
I have been messing around with the server at the house trying out a beta of WHS. It didn't go well for me, so I am reverting back to a previous installation. I am curious to know what others think about installing drivers and decoders on a system that doesn't actually play video on screen but does transcode to MVPs and PS users.
Is there any benefit to installing video drivers, decoders? Or should I stick with what comes with SageTV. Also, since I am not enabling HW acceleration (Server 2003) and installing DX 9 am I hampering myself? TIA B |
