Exclamation Motherboard Failure... Recorded TV question..

Hi Guys.

Due to a motherboard failure, i have had to rebuild my server over the last 2 days.
I have a load of recordings on my recording drive that no longer show up in " Recorded TV " . Is there a way to put them back in ?

Like i said, i had to re-format, and as a result have lost all my settings, WIZ files, properties files etc..

thank you

Not really. Unless you kept a backup of wiz.bin somewhere, those files will now be imported videos because their file IDs won't match the ID series from the new setup. For future reference: as with any important data file, wiz.bin would be one data file to keep backed up on another drive or even PC.

Niel's webserver has a way to enter data for a show, but I don't believe that will put them back in as the actual shows they were before. I'm not sure about any other custom tools that might have been created.
