VLC Player Can Play iso DVD images -- How to Make SageTV Use VLC?

As stated in the title, I need to know how to make SageTV to use an external video player to play iso DVD files.

Any ideas?

I think there are a couple of customizations to launch an external player for movies/imported videos.

But there's no way to make Sage "use" VLC, as in use VLC for processing but display the image within the Sage UI.

I thought there are some external player plugins, but the search did not come up with anything. I might have to dig deeper.

I think SageMC can do it, but I think there's an import too.
