Question G4 Mac Mini as SageTV client?

A guy at work is selling a G4 Mac Mini in decent condition for $400(US) and I'm considering buying it to use as a SageTV client. This would let me move our current SageTV server out of the room and the Mac Mini would replace it as a quieter, more compact client. I'd be connecting it to a Westinghouse 42" LCD HD Monitor through DVI, and it would connect to the server via a wired 100MB network. My current Windows Server/Client PC works well, but I always feel like it's pushing the envelope as far as video performance goes.

What are your experiences with the G4 Mac Mini? I'm most interested in how well the video looks (stuttering, etc.) and how well it responds to remote commands.

G4 mac mini is pretty slow. The Intel based ones are much more capable, and several folks here use them as clients.

Thanks,
Mike
