Windows / Mac

What about windows servers w/ Mac clients? I assume, I can simply mix and match?

Yes, no problems here. I have used a Windows server with Mac client and Mac placeshifter. I have also used a Mac server with Windows placeshifter. It's all good.

What about Mac server as a slave to Windows server?
