iMON remote with Sage6 support???

hey guys,

I decided (after a year) to try the iMON remote control I got with the Thermaltake HTPC chassis.
It actually works quite nice for all kind of applications, but not for SAGE6.

Does anyone have *.imo file so I could programm Sage6 to work with the iMON remote?

I am currently unable send PMs and currently have a trial version of SageTV. Its going bloody awesome but I have the Thermaltake DH102 case with iMon software. So far its I can do everything I need with my remote after some "fashioning" except SageTV.
SageTV jumped into the void of happiness created by BeyondTV being US and Canada only, it has proved slightly awkward as my iMon remote is useless with it.
Can anyone help me?

PS I realise I'm resurrecting an old thread but it is the only thread relevant and it seemed pointless to begin a new one.

You'll need to find a 3rd party remote software like Girder or EventGhost or LM Remote or HIP that supports the iMon osftware. One of those may have a plugin for that. All of them support SageTV.

What you can do is open the iMon software and add a new application.
Then look in your SageTV manual (PDF file installed in the same directory you installed SageTV or from the start menu) and get the commands. You can assign each button to do the SageTv commands. These commands can be found on page 211 of the manual I believe. The iMon software will send these commands when sagetv.exe is in focus.

Ok so I have started a .imo file within iMon manager but the settings are all wrong so going through the manual I've found some of the important keystrokes but not others.
Does anyone know a keystroke to go directly to the pictures or videos or music or dvd?

I too am trying to setup my iMon remote. If you have a .imo file going, can you send it to me? Or post it somewhere online perhaps?

shameless bump. . . I have had this sort of working. . .
I think i'll be able to share my imo file, but i need to play with it some more.

I actually don't like the remote as much for mouse control, which is super painful but otherwise it has features i wish my current remote had like app off, and power the pc on/off.

but i'm still curious if someone has an imo file they can share. . .
I also found a list of all the keyboard input sage takes and commands so we should be able to make this work effectively without girder.
