OTA EPG has only 24h, can I set it to another EPG?

I have an OTA antenna and a Firewire cable box tuning in the same HD channels.

The built in OTA EPG Data seems to only exist for ~24hrs (Philly OTA HD). However the same channels on the Cable box EPG have data for 14 days.

2 questions:

1. Why does the OTA EPG data only for 24h

2. Is there any way to make the Cable boxes EPG data apply to the OTA HD channels? I've tried to do this any only messed things up further, so if anyone knows a way, a somewhat step by step guide would be appreciated.

Until someone comes along who has dealt with that more, look for "disable_data_scanning" in sage.properties. It should be on one or more of the "epg_data_sources/..." properties. It is supposed to turn off getting EPG data from the digital stream, but the forum doesn't find it in a search, so I can't point you to more info about it. You could try setting it to true for the epg source you want to affect.
