animated radar in 6.1 ?

Hi,
I've been trying STV ver.6.1 out and just bought it today. I'm using it mainly as a VOD server at this point as I've transfered most of my DVD's to HDD.

The local weather feature is real good and I use it a lot but I want to ask if I can use the V4 WRS from... http://sage-community.org/index.cgi/...herReportSuite in 6.1 to have local animated radar ?

I too would like a better animated radar setup. In the past I have used WRS but it always took FOREVER to load. I eventually gave up on it.

What version of STV are you using and which WRS are you talking about ?

I'm sure someone here must know if you can use WRS v4 with STV 6 ???

I think the last time I used it was with 6.0.19. It took alot of messing with the setup file to get my location listed though. The whole setup was far from easy and when it was all said and done it took 3-5 minutes to completely load. At that point it was easier to just go to a real computer an look at the radar.

It would be really cool if someone could integrate the new maps from weather.com
