Simplifi Digital 7075A with Vista and Sage

Hi All,

Is anyone successfully running the 7075A Simplifi Digital amp with Vista and Sage? I am looking at replacing my current 5.1 receiver that is volume controlled with Girder and IRBlaster with one of the Simplifi amps. My board supports the Intel ADAT standard (Sigmatel chip), and I like the idea of these Simplifi HTPC amps, however PCAlchemy warned that there is no Vista driver for the 7075A yet.

When I contacted Simplifi, I got the following response:

"Thanks for your inquiry. The Vista drivers for ADAT are not tied into Media Center yet, and I do not have a scheduled release date. The ADAT drivers do work outside the Media Center environment. Within Media Center, audio is stuck at full volume."

When I asked for clarification on what "ouside the Media Center environment" meant (and asked point blank...will it work with Sage), they said they would look into it, but it's been a week and no response, so I thought I'd ask around here. So, is anyone using the 7075A with the ADAT interface and Sage in Vista and if so, is it working properly?

Regards,
Rick

The info that we (pcalchemy) gave you about no Vista driver was what Simplifi told us, I'll need to contact SImplifi again to get clarification.
