Sagetv Recordings not right after rebuild

I just rebuilt my sagetv server and I copied the wiz.bin file back after loading a clean version of sage. I did this to retain the recording I already had and to keep my favorite and recording schedule.

Now I look at my sagetc recording and not all of them are there. They are in the recording's directory but not showing up under sagetv recording. Is there a way to rebuild the sagetv recordings database.

Any thoughts

Some of the recordings show up, or none of them? If none of them, did you make sure the old recording paths are still visible so SageTV can see the files are no longer there?

If some of the recordings are listed, then assuming that the steps in this FAQ were followed in the Q&A regarding switching to a new PC, did you try the note near the top about this new setting for v6.2?

repair_mismatched_media_filenames=true

Close SageTV, set that proeprty, then restart SageTV to see if that fixes it.

No changes in the path names. I restored a wiz.bin file that was a couple of weeks old. Now I only see recordings that were done when that wiz.bin was running.

The other recordings are likely in the imported videos section.

I found by doing a search. But just wondering if there is a way to get them to show up in sage recording.

I thought you said you started with the latest wiz.bin copy that came from the old system, which should have all the recording info in it. Did you start with a brand new one instead, before switching to the one a couple weeks old?

If the wiz.bin that you have been trying to use is the most recent one from the old system, then have you tried what I said above about the repair_mismatched_media_filenames property? All the recording info should be there & that property should help match the files to the airings.
