hdhr & sage 6.2.10?
I'm thinking of getting an hd homerun...but I read about the issues with the driver and the latest version of Sage. Has everything been worked out, or should I wait a couple of months?
thanks! rwc |

I'm having pretty good success with mine, and I know I'm not the only one. I'm using the 20070916beta1 drivers from Silicondust and the SageTV 6.2.10 release. I'm able to record both HD and digital SD channels with the HDHR.
My only issue is getting HD playback working smoothly on my PC, but that isn't related to the HDHR as much as to my under-spec client PC. I'm holding out for the new HD extender to fix my playback issues. For now it's watchable, just not great. |

Working good for me BUT the HDHR does not detect one of my network channels. I'm running the latest 200710xxbeta2 (can't remember the exact date on the file). Older versions of the driver detected all 4 networks. I'm going to manually edit the linup.xml file to add in the missing channel and see if it will play in Sage.

I have it set up with the latest release of sage and the latest non-beta drivers from silicon dust. I followed the direction on their site, and everything is gravy. Watched Heroes and Journeyman last night, it was perfect

Works fine. I actually have 2 that I use for over-the-air HD with no problems.

Several of us are having problems with the HD recordings and timeshifting causing pauses when one timeshifts backwards, so not everything is great in the world of HDHR + Sage.
As of yet, there is no known solution for the problem, and it has been confirmed by more than one of us. |
