6.3.2 Main Menu Slide

I notice that when I launch 6.3.2 from the System Tray that the main menu appears, then slides in again from the right side of the screen again ... I know this is likely an animation feature, but can be annoying. Can it be disabled without turning off all animations?

In Detailed Setup, go to Customize, then down to 'Animation Options', then disable 'Menu transitions', leave the rest enabled. I'm guessing you are running SageTV on an older slower computer like mine. Even on my old 866 Mhz Pentium III 512MB Dell, the other animations are fine, but the 'Menu transitions' cause weird behavior, something like yours. I think it needs a little performance tuning for slower computers.

Thanks Rob ... Actually I have the reverse problem ... Dual Xeons ... it's my main system I also use as a Sage sand box for new/beta releases. The sliding menus go by so fast that whenever I launch or go the the main menu it's almost like a screen fliker ....

I'll disable it per your suggestion.
