channels not showing up in program guide

I added a cable STB and viewed every channel before I enabled in
video source channel lineup.
BUT
some channels don't show up in program guide.

My analog tuners are assigned non-digital (0-99) from TW/buffalo
My cable STB is assigned 1-999 extended digital from TW/buffalo
My HDhomeRun is assigned hd only from TW/Alden extended digital (different channel numbers)

Help!
Thanks,
Ray

See the note at the bottom of p. 45 in the v6.2 PDF manual to see if the stations are getting merged in the guide.

I used two different cable guide sources
one for my local cable and one from the next city
Different channel number used
BUT

#1
702-WGRZDT
WGRZDT (WGRZ-DT) Buffalo
EPG Linup: Time Warner Cable WNY Suburban Digital - Niagara Falls

#2
1002 - WGRZDT - [57]
WGRZDT (WGRZ-DT) Buffalo
EPG Lineup: Time Warner Cable Erie County Digital-Alden

1002 shows up but not 702
Can't help Time Warner is all over the place and uses the same names.

I'm not sure if you are still asking or simply saying what is happening... but that result is exactly what that note in the manual says to expect.

Kind of both.
Actually the 702 is s-video from my cable STB.
Where is the name of the channel stored?
When does the guide get updated?
(can I sneek in just after guide is updated over then internet and change some text so it won't be a match?) :-)
Thanks,
Ray

So as long as the exact station ID is the same, no matter what city's guide I use, program listing will only show one, even if different physical channel??
I thought different city's guide was the way of getting around this problem?

They are the same station, so they are combined. Using a guide source from another city was to solve something else.

I did almost a year ago to separate analog tuner from HD tuner
before guide's station ID started to include dt, dt1,dt2
