Vista Media Center problems

Hi people,
I hope someone can help. After many years of frustration with MCE and more recently VMC I decided to give SageTv a go yesterday.
I downloaded the trial edition and installed. All went well (I had a crash during searching for channels but restarted and it worked the second time). I selected both of the tuners from my Dvico Dual Digital and scanned. All looked great but I have to admit that I had one or two problems with library and HDTV.
However I then closed it down and rebooted. I went back into VMC and had no signal on TV. I tried to re run the tuner wizard and it says I have no TV hardware.
I uninstalled Sage to try to cure the problem but no use.
I reinstalled Sage and found that it still had kept the tuner settings. So I removed them from Sage and now Sage says I have no tuner hardware (when I try to add).
I've tried removing the card drivers and reinstalling but nothing.
So in summary I installed Sage and now I have no TV in Sage or VMC. Strangely the Dvico prog still has both the tuners though
Any help would be gratefully received.
It looked a nice prog at first but taking away my TV is a big tick in the negative column.
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
