New client setup issue
I couldn't wait for the HD extender to become available and proceeded to built a client out of parts lying around and some new parts.
My previous SageTV server/HTPC client moved into a new case with good ventilation and overclocked from 2.8 to 3.36. This has given me much better MVP response to remote control commands. The SageTV server is not running in service mode. I have the SageTV UI loading at boot time into the tray. Everything went smoothly with the client except that I notice that all my imported videos show as double entries in the video library. In the SageTV client setup I did not add any new import directories since it inherited the same directories from the SageTV Server. Initially, I did not map the network drives in the client and I was getting many cases where SageTV would complain (Error -3) that it could not open the file. After making the same network drive mappins on the client as I have on the server, I can play all my videos but I now have double entries on each video. Any ideas anyone?

I don't know an answer, so this is just guessing... There aren't 2 import directory entries that lead to those videos, right?
Did you change an import directory & the server now can't see the old location? If so, maybe it can't verify to remove them but the cilent can access the files via the mapped drives now. If you disable all video import dirs, do the double entries go away? - Andy
