Removing old channel/guide info
My cable company has changed line ups a couple of times. If I do a rescan, it puts all the channels in with new channel numbers, etc and leaves the old. How can I wipe the slate clean? Even if I delete the source, when I re-add it, the line-up returns as before.

I don't think you can delete channels, I'm searching for the same thing actually. Would love to clean up the lineup from my bad edits, but when you remove & re-add the tuner, the old lineup comes right back with it .
Hopefully someone will chime in and prove me wrong..

I need to do the same thing. Not being able to delete channels doesn't make sense. I submitted a support request on this subject.
I searched the hard drive, and looked inside config files, but can't even find where the data is stored. I don't mind editing config files myself, if necessary. |

Remapping the channel back to the default (or another channel) seems to delete it. I accidentally figured this out, then support replied and told me the same.
Not very intuitive, for sure. |

I do believe if you edit Sage.Properties with the Sage service & GUI stopped.
And change the following line: mmc/retain_lineups_for_lost_devices=true To false, and remove the tuner (as long as no other device is using that lineup) it will remove the channel list (lineup).

you would think there would be an option to remove the channel if you want. Are they working on this in an updated version? I see someone reported it, I don't want to report it again.
