Fast forward and rewind hangs or freezes
Just updated to 6.3 from 5 and am getting ticked off at my fast forward and rewinds always getting stuck so the image freezes but audio continues. I usually have to step back and forth until video comes up--never had this with version 5 so am curious as to what gives?
Specs (new pc) p4 3ghz 8600gt 320 gb sata drive with 64kb clusters pvr 250 hvr-1600 2gb of 800mhz dual channel ddr2 Anyone have any thoughts as to why I can't get decent rewind and fast forwarding anymore?

It is a long shot but you might try insuring that the Mpeg2 Audio Decoder Filter is set to AC3Filter. I encountered a issue with a converted file that would freeze and it was/is related to the audio decoder filter.

Its not so much as a freeze but it takes 5 secs or so to catch up and play normal--so pause then superfast video then normal. With comskip enabled this is disastrous since it does it every time theres a commercial (does it without comskip in case anyone was wondering)
I have a 320gb SATA and a 250 ide (just for storage though) so could that be problem??
