As MP3 Picture Album Art Cover problem you need embedded Album Art so you have 2 Option here.
1: Musicmatch JUKEBOX. You need buy the Plus ver in order to get Enhanced Super Tagging which allow you add Art cover to all ready Rip MP3. 2: Mp3 Tag Tools. Use 125x125 JPG cover art work being I not sure if Jeff add PNG or BMP as an image format. |

I've got MM plus too, at least for the trial period at least. I'm trying this out to see if I want to buy it. I seem to have the problem that Sage thinks all my songs are about double the time length. I'm ripping at 256, so I'm going to try 128 or 190 to see if that makes it happy.
I just told Sage not to import anything and restarted it to clear the media library. I deleted a CD and I re-ripped it, and added the album art to it and re-imported the album into Sage and viola! It works! |

iTunes is really good at adding album covers.

Do rippers such as Itunes and musicmatch automatically retrieve album covers for you?

Yes you need clear the media library by remove the library close sage re-sage add back in media library.
2 option to try with a reg Graphics Editor by copy the image then Paste image from MM Plus or Mp3 Tag Tools. |

iTunes does not automatically find the cover art. There are a couple of downloadable apps that help find them, though. I just wish they could go through my whole library and find them rather than one at a time.

My problem is I have 50 allbums and less then a dozon of the cover art shows up. They are all .jpgs all diffrent sizes. I looked a couple that did show up but is seems there was no particular size the coverart needed to be. I just shows up on a few albums and not on the majority

Tom
Are there any apps in particular you would recommend for just getting album art in general, even if it is one album at a time? Thanks |

Well, the one I used is a Mac app... I don't remember its name right off but I'll look it up if you are still interested.

I have been getting them from Amazon.com. Search for your cd click on the image to display the larger version. Right click and save picture to a file on your harddrive. Using MP3 Tag Tools 1.2 (freeware) I load the picture into each of the files for the CD. The trick in sage it to go to the Setup/Detailed Setup/General... Modify Library Import Directories. Delete the dir that had these mp3s in it and readd the dir.
Go to the Albums in the image should be there. You do not have to resize the images, they auto fit. |

That's good to know in the future [that it'll auto-resize]. I got most of mine from amazon as well. Google Images was a good resource as well. Much faster than scanning them in

Album Art Embedded, still not showing.
I embedded the album art to each song in the directory.
I shut down sage, removed the import directory and re-added it. Album art still does not show. Any Suggestions? |

We need to be clear on the process.
To be safe: Remove the directory imported using the detailed setup menu. Shutdown Sage, don't just sleep, Exit it. Then Start Sage and add the directory back using the detailed setup menu. That has worked for me. Again, I am also resizing my images to 125 x 125. Others have reported that Sage auto-resizes, but I haven't tried this yet. |

R00st3r- how do you embed the album art to each song in the dir... Once you use the MP3 TAGTOOLS application to embed the image in the actual MP3FILE, you do not need to even have the separate graphic image on your harddrive.
I have been successful by using this tag editor. To have SAGE recognize it even if it is running is to drop/remove the path of your MP3s from the Setup/DetailedSetup/General/ Modify Library Import DIRs then readd it back. This will make SAGE refresh the library input... I have been 100% successful with this procedure. |
