HDHomerun and Sage 6.3.10 issues

I am seeing three issues:

(1) I see my video skipping quite a lot in SageTV from the HDHR channels, regardless of whether I am watching Live TV or recording. Using the VLC Player that came with the HDHR does not show this skipping problem. Watching video from my ATI TV Wonder HD 650 USB does not have this skipping problem.

(2) Even though I enabled quite a few ClearQAM channels from my cable connection, I am not seeing about 20 of those channels appearing in the SageTV program guide, although they are enabled in the HDHR Setup (and, SageTV said that it saw all 40 channels).

(3) If I try to "View" any of the channels from the HDHR during Channel Setup, it causes SageTV to immediately terminate.

Is anybody else seeing any of these? Or, are there known fixes?

I am using 6.3.10 and the latest HDHR drivers from a couple days ago with OTA reception. I am not having any of those issues. Did you change anything else?

Well, I gotta ask. What cable operator do you have that provides over 20 clear QAM channels?

I have 26 clear QAM channels enabled, I have even more but they are only SD in digital form. I think I have about 40 music channels alone. I have Comcast as a provider.

thomaszoo - I installed nVidia PureVideo, since I couldn't use the SageTV video decoder (The SageTV video decoder was also exhibiting skipping - a problem confirmed by a SageTV tech support dude).

I dunno. Maybe I have something else configured incorrectly in SageTV? I am also seeing some minor skipping (but much, much less) on my HD content from my HD 650 digital input. (The analog input on the HD 650 doesn't skip at all).

I think I may have to downgrade back to 6.3.5.

Mitch G - I am on Cox. But, there aren't very many "useful" channels out of the 40 beyond the locals (which are in SD and HD). Most of the rest are a lot of infomercial/HSN type channels.

I have comcast as well

I have comcast as well, and all the qam channels work great, except for 1. The local fox affiliate in HD. I can watch the channel just fine via the vlc/hdomerun software, but sage.tv will ALWAYS say no signal on it. all the other hd channels work great. I gave up, and just watch that channel live via hdhomerun

I'm having the same problem with Fox. Anyone have any idea why Fox thru the HDhomerun wouldn't be working? I have it mapped the same way as all my other channels...I'm on Mediacom...

Did you check the channel mapping in the HDHR manager and make sure Sage is "tuning" the right number channel?
If not, in Sage, change the "physical" channel number to match the mapped channel number in HDHR manager - or something like that. There are other threads about that here and on the silicondust forums.
(Sorry I don't remember the details, but hopefully this will provide useful leads to find a solution.)
