Playback of currently recording HD content

I'm wondering if anyone else is getting video stuttering and audio/video un-syncing when playing back HD content while it's still recording. I've noticed it tends to go away a few minutes after the recording has finished. Could ComSkip analyzing during the recording be causing stuttering?

Yes, on both questions. I am using ShowAnalyzer instead of ComSkip, and I have to throttle it by limiting the amount of data it can read per second, otherwise it will make the currently playing video choppy.

I've also noticed the unsyncing issue, and haven't figured out what the problem is. I usually just stop the video, and restart SageTV (client), and it goes away.

I've had this issue off and on for a while now. Last night I watched two in progress recordings without issue...what I did: disabled Superfetch and ReadyBoost in Vista SP1. I see you are sill on XP however...

my issue is different - sometimes the video will stop after it finishes a show (if I put it on live for the kids, playback will stop when their 30 minute show is up even though it's still recording). I don't remember the MVPs doing that...
