SageMC Weather on 6.4.2: 5 day forecast

Anybody else seeing the 10 day forecast all out of whack? I'm showing this week as the 5 top days and last week as the bottom 5 days... or so the dates seem to appear...

Only 5 days are available now, see "Weather.com Problem?" for a previous discussion about the same thing in the default UI.

I'm starting to see an odd bug. My 10 day forecast starts off fine with tomorrow and the next 4 days on the top row. Then it gets weird, the bottom row indicates the weather forecast from a week ago instead of continuing on the sixth through tenth day.

Has anyone seen this before? What can I do to fix it?

There are several threads already discussing this issue. It seems that weather.com has done away with their 10-day forecast and is now only providing a 5-day. I'm sure the STV's will be updated to accomodate this change in the near future, so just hold tight...

Anyone seen this happen before? Top five days of this weather forecast are for June 25 - June 29. Bottom 5 days forecast is for May 10 to May 14th.

I'm using SageMC 16X9. I've upgraded to Sage 6.4.4 Beta. I read where the 6.4.3 beta fixed the Weather.com problem with no longer being able to get the 10 day forecast. I'm getting Weather updates okay however on the 10 day forecast I still see the lower days showing old May data. Do I need to manually clear out that old data or change the STV settings to only show 5 days of weather? I read where someone was using the extra spots on the screen to show the Night Weather detail but I'm not sure where to go to set that.

Do I need a different theme besides the 16x9 to fix this? Any help appreciated.

If you want to modify the STV to skip the last 5 days, try this:

change:
DayList = DataUnion("1","2","3","4","5","6","7","8","9")

to:
DayList = DataUnion("1","2","3","4")

That should just remove the right column.

I'm using the SageMC 16X9 STV Would love to have the night listing detail where days 6-10 used to be. Could I get the details on that? If I'm using the 6.4.4 beta what should I expect to see? What exactly is the beta suppose to fix?

If you were directing that question to me, since you quoted my post in the weather topic for the default STV: I do not use SageMC. Please keep the discussion about this aspect of the weather issue in the SageMC forum. (I've moved your question out of the discussion for the default STV, obviously.)

Has anyone seen an updated STV to fix the Weather Forecast Screen. I realize that I won't get 10 days But there is enough screen real estate that it would be nice if the lower 5 days would display the Nighttime forecast for the daytime forecast above it. Everytime I've tried to get help on this issue people keep moving my post to this forum.

Help or suggestions on where to look would be appreciated.

I'm new to SageMC and to Studio, so it's just an xml export of the menu and not an STVi, but here is my work to fix the 10-day forecast menu. Maybe it can be pulled in to the next iteration and save someone else some work. I gotta give something back to all of you guys that have put so much work in to this interface.

Thanks for sharing. Your 5 Day Forecast Screen is what I was hoping to find. I added it as a screen. Is there a way I can replace the 10 Day Forecast with this 5 day forecast? So I can go to it from within the weather options screen?

You have to do that with Studio since the Weather Menu is not a Dynamic Menu. Go to the weather menu, then open Studio and expand the menu. For the 10-day button, delete the link to the 10-day menu, then link the 5-day to it. Change the text of the 10-day button as well and you'll be good to go.

Not exactly sure what I just did but it works. And is what I was looking for. Checking the weather is about the only thing I can get my wife to do on the system. So making it work a little better is one step closer to making her a regular user.
