Streaming over the Internet

I'm wondering if with SageTv I can somehow stream my media over the internet to my computer at school/work.. at the cottage. etc. This would be great for places where I don't have a TV line but have an Internet line.

There's this box called the, Sling Media Slingbox and has this feature-> Click here.

I really don't want to go out and buy the Slingbox if Sagetv can do this please let me know... and if Sage doesn't "currently" support it.. do you plan to support it in the future?

Placeshifter will adjust the quality based on the connection speed. I guess it all depends on how you define 'decent quality'. How large of a screen do you plan on watching it on?

Your best bet is to just try it and see. I set this up a few months ago to allow me to watch afternoon baseball games at work, and it was a cinch.
