One channel not working, who do I talk to?

OK, I have a new system working, and 1 HD channel isn't working well, but everything else is fine. The video frame rate is like 1 every 5 seconds. I did tape 2 shows, one was fixable with VideoReDo, the other didn't seem to be at all

So, who do I call? Cable company? Local network? Live with it? It's the local NBC, and right now there is nothing on I like, but come fall, I HAVE TO SEE Heroes IN HD!!!!!!! Any suggestion???? I have an amp as soon as the cable comes in , and the signal seems to be fine SS 97%, SQ 84%, SyQ 100% (and of course, as I type this, the picture is fine)

If you have an HD TV, and get the same results on it, then you could make some calls. Otherwise forget about them troubleshooting issues with an HTPC (SageTV).

My local Comcast delivers two NBC stations in HD. One has frame issues, the other audio issues. My neighbors cable box has no issues with any HD channels. I'm guessing it's a conversion error on the CableCo side that my HDHR doesn't like but doesn't bother decoders of cable boxes or HDTVs.

Another thing to try, if you're within the stations OTA broadcast range, is to try pulling it in with an antenna.
