A "WTB/For Sale" Section in the forum
I don't know if this has been brought up or discussed before, but I thought it would be nice to have a "WTB/For Sale" section in the forum for those looking to by or sell used PVR/PC hardware. What do you say to that Adm/Mods?
I realize it is in the terms of service or whatever its called under Advertising, but this seems like something that can be regulated a bit. Other sites do it. Why not here? Last edited by craigap; 06-25-2008 at 11:55 AM. |

There have been several times I've wished that there was a For Sale section, but I have to agree. This isn't a board run by private individuals/enthusiasts. SageTV uses this as place for its users to gather and exchange information. I can't blame them for wanting to steer clear of people advertising or selling on their site. Seems like it would just open up issues that they shouldn't have to worry about, not least of which is people wanting support for used equipment purchased on the "official" sage forums.
