a couple questions

I finally have sagetv hooked up to the tv in the living room and have a couple of questions where searching is doing me no good.

1. Is there a way to use the xml file that itunes generates to to retrieve metadata and cover art for my music?

2. How can I have my ripped dvds and other videos in different categories.
I would prefer it if when I selected play dvd it went to a menu with all of my dvds rather than trying to access the dvd drive (I am using all extenders). Also, IS there a way to use dvdprofiler to get metadata for the dvd's?

3. I saw that there is a plugin for online video sources, does this work for subscription services?

1) don't know... I don't use iTunes

2) SageMC supports this. There is a seperate sub-forum here for SageMC with details.

3) I assume you mean services like netflix now, etc. It is possible with some work-arounds. The issue is that the extender is not a true PC client, so it doesn't have all the same flexibility. however, you can fake it by using your server, outputting the signal into another video input card.
