Favorites and padding

Currently I have Sagetv not to remove padding from back to back favorites.

I had to do this because SpikeTV tends to go over 5 minutes on CSI and the Star treks. So It was a hassle viewing the shows because no endings and you had to go hunting for next recorded.

My Question is.

If I setup a CSI favorite with 5 mins Padding on SpikeTV 57
do the same With Star Trek shows

Then I setup other favorites below it ... CSI With no padding on any other channel and Star treks etc..

If conflicts occur would Sage use the one with no padding To record on 57 to resolve the conflicts?. I prefer dealing with the conflict. myself.

Do I have to highlight every channel on my second fav but 57 for this to work as I want it to work?
